Charter Ready combines AVI50222 Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence) and AVI50519 Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating). You finish job-ready with a commercial pilot licence and a multi-engine instrument rating.
12 months, 46 weeks full time, with a minimum of 20 hours a week face to face at our Cowra campus.
225 total flight hours across the combined course.
The commercial pilot licence portion is flown in the Cessna 206. Your instrument rating is flown in the Beechcraft Duchess, with the option to train in the Beechcraft Baron for an additional fee.
Yes. Along with the Class 1 Medical certificate, you'll need Aviation English at ICAO Level 6 or IELTS 6.0, an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC), an Aviation Reference Number (ARN), and to be at least 17 with a Year 12 Certificate or Certificate 4 (or an LLN test if you don't have either).
