Flight Instructor Rating Course

General Information

Fly Oz conducts training for numerous flight instructor rating qualifications:

  • Grade 3 (Aeroplane) Initial Issue
  • Grade 2 and Grade 1 Upgrades
  • Design Feature Training
  • Instrument Training
  • Multi Engine Training
  • Night VFR Training

Course Requirements

Any initial issue of a flight instructor rating requires:

  • completion of the PIRC (Pilot Instructor Rating Common) examination
  • a Commercial Pilot Licence
  • a Spinning Flight Activity endorsement.

Any additional instructor qualification require the ‘normal’ qualification to be held by the instructor.
