The Recreational Pilot Licence (RPL) is the first step in your aviation training. From your first lesson you fly a Piper Warrior with one of our instructors, who teaches you to operate the aircraft safely.
At Fly Oz you have your own instructor, five days a week, with two flights a day. The RPL syllabus is designed to be completed in six weeks full time. You can also train part time around your own schedule.
An RPL lets you fly as pilot in command within 25 nautical miles of your departure aerodrome, with one passenger.You complete five hours of solo flying before your flight test. When you finish, you can move on to your Private Pilot Licence.
