Private Pilot Licence Course

General Information

Fly Oz Private Pilot Licence course follows on directly after the Recreational Pilot Licence. During the PPL course you will learn to navigate across the beautiful Central west of NSW using aviation charts and traditional navigation techniques. You will also be exposed to flying into controlled airspace as we make multiple flights to both Canberra (Class C) and Bankstown (Class D) airports. Fly Oz syllabus for PPL is also designed to be completed full time in 4 weeks, however this can also be shortened for those students who have already completed their CASA PPL theory exam.

The Private Pilot Licence (PPL) allows you to fly as pilot in command anywhere in Australia. You can take up to (5) passengers and can cost share your flying. You must complete a flight review every two (2) years to remain current and complete three (3) take offs and landings within the previous 90 days if you are taking passengers.

At the completion of this course, the possibilities are endless; night flying, instrument flying, aerobatics!
